Potato Donuts

1 cup mashed potatoes

2 tbsp. butter

2 eggs beaten

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

3 cups flour

4 tsp. baking powder

¼ tsp. salt

Nutmeg

Oil for frying


Mix the butter with the potatoes. Add eggs, sugar and milk. Mix well. Add dry ingredients. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. Roll dough out and cut out donuts. Fry in hot oil. Roll in sugar.
