Egg 3 tbsps. sugar 1 1/2 cup sweet milk 2 eggs (beat) pinch of salt 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 tbsp. butter This can be mixed by beater or by hand and can be baked in your favorite pie shell or baked without a pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes or until you can insert a knife blade which will be removed clean of custard. Coconut 1 1/2 cups sugar 5 eggs 4 level tbsp. flour 5 tbsp. melted butter 4 cups cold milk Pastry for two 9-inch pies 1 cup coconut Combine sugar, eggs and flour. Add butter and milk. Pour into pie shells. Put 1/2 cup coconut on the top of each pie. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes then reduce heat to 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until done. Makes two 9-inch pies.
